Namaste ~
I am honored to be able to bring to you a place of "sacred space" to share with you.   Let's get acquainted a bit  -

 

Born to second generation Italian heritage I was lucky to call Ronald and Suzanne Esemplare my parents.   My Dad, Ron, who I was named after, had the nickname Curley, and was a real throw back from the 1950's.  He was one of the original "Rat Pack" generation a true combination of a "Greaser/Jock/all around fun loving guy.  My Mom Suzanne, was a little spit fire, and once they met it was love at first sight.  They both grew up in the same town of Mt. Vernon, New York, loved to dance, hung out with the same group of friends - so of course they went and got hitched!

Fast forward, a few years, after the birth of my brother "Anthony" they thought it was time to move up North a bit - and settled nicely on a small town in Westchester County, called Silver Lake, NY (fondly known by its residents as "meatball mountain").   As with many Italian families, I was so blessed to have my Dad's Mother, who everyone knew as "Nanny" live with us.  Growing up I was surrounded by love and comforts of family.  If we weren't in the kitchen having a 10 course meal, sharing funny stories,  we were in the dining room having desert and coffee, sharing some serious conversations about life. I had many Uncles and Aunts that came to visit on a regular basis - if you have ever seen the movie "Moonstruck" that about sums up my childhood.  Those years were glorious times and hold a special place in my heart.

The next part of my journey - although a more difficult part, has been bitter sweet.  A time of growth and maturity.  My Mom Suzanne, an avid smoker since the age of 9 years old, passed away of lung cancer at  the age of 56 (OUCH that one still hurts!).  Everything changed and life was now a different path.  Grief was a new realm for me.   I also was newly married, and had just had my first born son, in which I had my own challenges with my new nuclear family.  My Son had unimaginable colic and my marriage already was starting to show me things that I did not foresee for my future.  We went on to have a second child, our beautiful daughter.  I will stop here as this part is still in the healing stages.

 

But just like I said - bitter sweet!  my Second Mom "Mums" who actually was friends with my Mom Suzanne, started to date my Dad , and low and behold they fell in love.   I learned so much from this free spirited woman.  I learned about the richness that comes from being a blended family.  I am blessed to have the support of my Sister Allyson, my brother Jason and his wife Michele.  So again, the journey of life even with the difficulties can bring beautiful ambers of light to shine through our darkness.  This journey, in so many ways, prepared me for the next chapter, which I will get to shortly.
 

And so here we land - in the spring of 2017, I started developing severe physicals symptoms of excruciating body aches especially within all my pressure points - back of my shoulders, bottom of my feet.  This time is what  I refer to as my complete shut down.  I had been for many years, not emotionally dealing with, grief and loss of all parents now, divorce, etc.  The diagnosis was Fibromyalgia. That is when my search began to find an alternative healing modality besides the conventional medical approach.  I knew in my heart that I needed to heal.

​

My introduction to Reiki came from a crystal workshop that I attended with a local Reiki Master.  In fact the workshop was presented by a college friend that I had lost touch with over the years, who also is a Reiki Master.  The healing that came from that first workshop was so profound!  I knew that I was on the right path to wellness body and soul.

​

I became a Certified Reiki Master in June 2018 and I received all my attunements within the Sanctuary Angel Hawk family.   Being able to give myself Reiki was such a beautiful gift that I wanted to share it with others.  From that point forward I have resolved to introduce others to the great benefits of Reiki Healing.  

​

Oh yes - the best healing has come as you see, I too now have a blended family of my own.  I am blessed to have met my Life/Soul Partner, Gary, who never stops believing in me and encouraging me to be the best that I can be in myself.  I have 2 amazing step sons - Bennet and Graham - along with a tribe of Italian sisters and brother in-laws.  

​

It has been a wonderful journey and I am grateful for the support of family and friends with their continued guidance for The Sisters Healing Center.
